10月1日 Reflections of life in the mirrorWhen I was younger, I heard the old adage, “Youth is wasted on the young.” To me, this quote was simply a reflection of old men looking enviously at those who were born decades after them. It reflected a type of geriatric bitterness and envy by those who have lived past their youth. They don’t want to lose their youth and look jealously at those who are still in the spring of life. Now I understand the much deeper meaning of that quote that “youth IS squandered on the young”.
